Josiah Irvin joined the firm in 2016 in the corporate department and works primarily in the firm’s health care group. He provides transactional, compliance and regulatory advice to a range of health care clients, including hospitals and health systems, educational institutions, managed care organizations, independent practice associations, and alternative and innovative health care providers.
During law school, Josiah served as an articles editor of the Boston University Law Review. Prior to law school, Josiah worked as a project manager for a leading supplier of electronic health records.
- Provided regulatory and compliance counseling to health care organizations and insurance companies on a broad range of issues, including federal and state licensure requirements, fraud and abuse laws, drug payment standards, and health information technology, privacy and data security laws.
- Counseled a for-profit managed care organization in connection with its potential acquisition of another managed care organization.
- Advised a non-profit behavioral health organization on opportunities related to New York State Medicaid reform.
