Danielle Gray Jankowich

Senior Funds Attorney

Danielle Gray Jankowich works with institutional and other investors in connection with their investment in alternative assets, including investments in private funds. Danielle has over 20 years of experience in the asset management and private funds industries. 

Danielle was as an associate at a Boston-based law firm for five years in the private funds group, where she represented hedge fund and private equity funds. She then worked for 13 years at Grantham, Mayo & van Otterloo LLC in their natural resources investment arm in a hybrid legal/business role. At GMO, she was involved in the formation, fundraising and capital deployment of over $2B in capital in investments throughout the U.S., Latin America and Australasia. She was also responsible for overseeing day to day legal matters for the portfolio investments providing practical, business-oriented solutions. Following her tenure at GMO, Danielle was a director in the private investments team at Liberty Mutual Investments and is co-founder of a natural capital impact investing firm.

Danielle’s experience includes negotiating fund documents, side letters, and separate account arrangements, as both sponsor and investor. 

She graduated cum laude from University of Pennsylvania Law School, where she was a senior editor for the Law Review. She also received her BA from University of Pennsylvania magna cum laude
