Kenneth A. Kaufman
Kenneth Kaufman is an associate in Ropes & Gray’s asset management practice, focusing on private investment funds and hedge funds, as well as their advisers. Kenneth primarily assists private fund sponsors and management companies in connection with fundraising, structuring, governance, operations, compliance and regulatory-related matters. Kenneth has worked with his clients on co-investment structures and secondary transactions, and regularly represents institutional investors in connection with their private fund-related investments. Before joining the firm, Kenneth served as a law clerk for the Honorable Justice Robert J. Cordy of the Massachusetts Supreme Judicial Court.
During law school, Kenneth was a law clerk for the Environmental Enforcement Section at the United States Department of Justice in Washington, D.C. Kenneth also served as the Chair of his law school's Student Bar Association.
