Rouzana Kasem joined Ropes & Gray in 2022 as an associate in the private equity transactions group in London. Rouzana has experience acting for private equity and corporate clients on cross-border M&A, reorganisations and private equity transactions, as well as advising on general corporate law.

Prior to joining the firm, Rouzana trained and qualified at a leading Scottish law firm.

  • Advised Avista Capital Partners on its acquisition of Terrats Medical, a leading global provider of dental prosthetics, from Miura Partners.
  • Advised Partners Group, acting on behalf of its clients, on the agreement to invest in Exus, a leading European infrastructure asset management firm focused on the renewable energy sector, with a plan for Partners Group to commit up to EUR 1 billion in growth capital
  • Advised BPEA EQT and Tricor on the merger of Vistra and Tricor, creating a $6.5 billion global fund and corporate services platform
  • Advised Bridgepoint (BDC IV) on its partnership with Monica Vinader, the award-winning British luxury jewellery brand
  • Advised AEA Investors on its sale of LoneStar, a UK-headquartered global manufacturer and supplier of engineered components, to Epiris
