Angela is an associate in Ropes & Gray's asset management group. Angela regularly represents various sovereign wealth funds, pension funds and institutional investors in connection with investments in private investment funds, hedge funds, credit funds, real estate funds and co-investment transactions. Angela also has extensive experience in advising investment advisors and fund sponsors throughout Asia in formation of private investment funds, co-investments, and advising on regulatory, compliance and other internal issues. In addition, Angela works with fund sponsors in formation of RMB-denominated funds in China, including QFLP funds, QDLP funds and similar investment schemes, and she also assists institutional investors in investing in RMB funds. Prior to joining Ropes & Gray, Angela was an associate with a leading PRC firm in Shanghai where she focused on RMB fund formation, M&A and general corporate.
