Brian Lebow is an associate in the intellectual property litigation group. Brian’s practice focuses on patent infringement, contract disputes, and trade secret misappropriation across a range of high-tech and life sciences industries. His litigation experience includes pre-suit diligence, analyzing infringement and invalidity positions, conducting written discovery, taking and defending depositions, drafting briefs, motions, and expert reports, and preparing for hearings. Brian has participated in litigation in federal district courts, PTAB proceedings, and appellate matters. Brian also maintains an active pro bono practice in which he represents veterans in claims and appeals and advises clients in asylum, visa, and other immigration matters.

Prior to rejoining Ropes and Gray in 2021, Brian served as a judicial clerk for the Honorable Todd M. Hughes on the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit. During law school, Brian represented tenants in housing disputes before local housing authorities as a member of the Harvard Tenant Advocacy Project and served as a student attorney in the school’s Cyberlaw Clinic.
