Michelle Mlacker is an associate in the firm’s asset management group in New York. Michelle’s practice focuses on the representation of institutional investors with respect to their direct, secondary and co-investment programs. Michelle also represents sponsors of private funds in connection with formation, governance, and compliance matters.
Michelle maintains an active pro bono practice representing various amici curiae in criminal, constitutional, and international litigations.
Before joining Ropes & Gray in 2022, Michelle was an associate in the asset management group of another international law firm in New York. During law school, Michelle was a certified legal intern at the Defender Association of Philadelphia and an extern at the Conviction Integrity Unit in the District Attorney’s Office in Philadelphia.
