Rebecca Michelson joined Ropes & Gray's Washington D.C. office in 2021 as an associate in the litigation and enforcement practice group. Becca's practice includes civil litigation, government investigations, and antitrust matters. She has experience across all stages of civil litigation, including dispositive motion practice, discovery, and trial; and she has experience representing corporate clients in investigations of alleged False Claims Act violations and violations of securities laws. Becca maintains a pro bono practice across a variety of practices and has represented public benefits applicants, tenants in housing and eviction disputes, and veterans in military discharge petitions. She has also represented clients in expunging and vacating their criminal records.
In law school, Becca served as symposium editor for the Stanford Law & Policy Review and co-president for the Asian Pacific Islander Law Student Association. Prior to law school, Becca worked in grant-making at Three Rivers Workforce Investment Board (now Partner4Work), a nonprofit appointed to implement Department of Labor workforce development policy for Pittsburgh and Allegheny County.
