Syed Mahbub Murshed

Associate

Syed Murshed joined Ropes & Gray as an associate in its private equity transactions group in March 2022. Prior to joining Ropes & Gray, Syed was an associate in the private equity M&A team at a leading U.S. law firm in their London office.

Syed has experience in a broad range of corporate law matters including acting for private equity sponsors and portfolio companies in relation to domestic and cross border M&A, leveraged buyouts, joint ventures, group reorganisations, restructurings and corporate advisory work.

  • Advised Blackstone and Telereal Trillium on the acquisition of Network Rail’s commercial business estate*
