Brooke J. McNeill
Brooke McNeill joined Ropes & Gray's corporate department in 2018 and practices primarily in the firm’s asset management group. Her practice focuses on the representation of fund sponsors, hedge funds, private equity funds, credit funds, single-investor structures and other private funds in connection with fund formation, restructuring of open-end and closed-ends funds, along with various fundraising, regulatory and compliance matters. Brooke also advises registered investment companies and their independent trustees, as well as registered investment advisers, on a broad range of regulatory and transactional matters.
Brooke counsels fund clients on a variety of matters, including day-to-day regulatory advice on open- and closed-end fund and regulatory filings, fund disclosure, board governance, and advisory, sub-advisory and other service provider arrangements. Brooke’s experience includes advising fund managers on, and assisting negotiations relating to various agreements, such as side letters with investors, service provider agreements and placement agent agreements.
