Kelsey McIntosh joined the corporate department of Ropes & Gray’s New York office in 2019 and works with the data, privacy and cybersecurity group. A Certified Information Privacy Professional (CIPP/US), she counsels clients on data protection and privacy issues, such as data breach response and compliance with U.S. and foreign data protection regimes, as well as other general corporate matters. Prior to law school, Kelsey worked in the legal and security departments of a large social media company, where she focused on online safety and privacy issues. During law school, she was president of the Washington University Law Technology & Privacy Society and a student extern in the legal department of a Fortune 500 multinational manufacturing corporation. Kelsey also served as editor-in-chief of the Washington University Global Studies Law Review and as a student attorney in the Children’s Rights Clinic.
