Marly Mentor
Associate
Marly Mentor joined Ropes & Gray in 2022 and is an associate in Ropes & Gray's corporate department. Marly practices primarily in the firm’s private capital transactions group and represents private equity sponsors and their portfolio companies in a range of transactions, including mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, going-private transactions, leveraged buyouts and equity investments, as well as general corporate matters. Prior to joining Ropes & Gray, Marly was an investment funds associate in the New York office of another global law firm.
While at Georgetown Law, Marly externed at the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission as part of its Student Honors Program. Marly was also a member of the Georgetown Environmental Law Review and participated in the International Women’s Human Rights Clinic. In 2020, Marly received a master’s degree in Economic Law at Sciences Po in Paris, France.
