Patrick joined Ropes & Gray in 2019 as an associate in the firm’s finance group, representing private equity sponsors, their portfolio companies and public companies in a range of financing transactions, including syndicated credit facilities, high-yield bond offerings and fund subscription facilities. Prior to joining the firm, Patrick was an associate in the Boston office of an international law firm, where he advised financial institutions in a variety of structured finance, CLO and other financing arrangements.

Experience

  • Represented Trinseo Materials Operating S.CA., and certain of its affiliates, in connection with a $1.1 billion innovative financing transaction addressing the Company’s 2024 senior secured term loans and $385 million of its 2025 unsecured bonds. Funds managed and advised by Oaktree, Angelo Gordon and Apollo provided the financing. Trinseo (NYSE: TSE) is a specialty material solutions provider that partners with companies to bring ideas to life in an imaginative, smart and sustainability-focused manner.
  • Advised VetCor, a Harvest Partners portfolio company, in connection with obtaining $4.2 billion of senior secured credit facilities and holdco notes to finance the acquisition of People, Pets and Vets and to refinance existing debt.
  • Represented TPG and DirecTV in connection with the bank and bond financing for the spinout of DirecTV from AT&T.
  • Advised Audax Group in connection with obtaining debt financing for multiple acquisitions and subsequent add-on financings, including a non-hazardous liquid waste management company and a national dental practice management company.
  • Represented IQVIA Inc. in connection with multiple offerings of unsecured notes.
  • Represented Domino’s Pizza, Inc. on multiple offerings under its whole-business securitization.
  • Advised Hayward Industries in the $1.475 billion refinancing of its 1st lien and ABL credit facilities and other incremental facilities.
