Ben Niehaus is an associate in the corporate department and a member of the firm’s asset management group. Prior to joining the firm, Ben was an associate in the investment management group of the Boston office of an international law firm.
Ben focuses his practice on representing registered investment companies, business development companies ("BDCs") and investment advisers in regulatory, transactional and compliance matters. He provides advice regarding the creation, registration and operation of new and existing investment products for institutional or retail investors. Ben has also advised corporate sponsors of private investment vehicles in connection with structuring and compliance issues.
Ben also has an active pro bono practice that focuses on representing both individual clients and non-profit organizations.
