Julia Nelson joined Ropes & Gray’s asset management practice group in 2021.
During law school, Julia worked with the Immigrants’ Rights Clinic to represent indigent applicants for asylum and assist with impact litigation regarding the treatment of child immigrant detainees. Julia served as a teaching assistant to the clinic and won The Clinical Legal Education Association’s “Outstanding Clinical Team Award.” Julia also served as an articles editor for the Columbia University Journal of Gender and Law and research assistant to Contracts Professor Elizabeth F. Emens.
