Kareem Nizam joined Ropes & Gray’s New York office in 2022 and works in the asset management group.
Kareem is a Los Angeles native. He received his undergraduate degree from the University of California, Los Angeles and then attended the University of Southern California Gould School of Law. Prior to law school, Kareem worked as a law clerk at a boutique law firm in Century City.
While in law school, he was a member of USC’s Student Bar Association and a co-founder of the Middle Eastern & North African Law Students’ Association. He was also a participant in the school’s Business Law and Real Estate Law Association. During his third year of law school, Kareem participated in a Veteran’s Practicum Course, assisting war veterans in discharge upgrades. Additionally, he also participates in the firm’s pro bono efforts.
