Helen (Halley) Petersen

Halley Petersen joined Ropes & Gray in 2021 as an associate in the private capital transactions group.
Prior to joining Ropes & Gray, Halley was a corporate associate at a Boston law firm and served as a seconded attorney at a leading middle-market private equity sponsor.
During law school, Halley served as an executive editor of the Alaska Law Review and as a member of the Duke Law Moot Court Board. She was also a student attorney in the Duke Law Health Justice Clinic.
Prior to law school, Halley worked as a litigation paralegal at a law firm in Washington, D.C.
