William Patton
Bill Patton became a litigation partner in 1977 and retired on December 31, 2007.
Throughout his practice, Bill gained extensive experience in general litigation matters, including antitrust and intellectual property litigation. He advised and represented clients in a wide range of antitrust matters including private disputes and Department of Justice, FTC, and state law enforcement investigations. Bill has had significant trial and appellate experience before the Supreme Judicial Court, the Federal Courts of Appeals, and the United States Supreme Court. Bill was also engaged in significant litigation in both state and federal courts including patent cases, antitrust matters, and a broad range of civil suits and appeals.
