Ashley Riley joined Ropes & Gray’s tax, employment, and benefits department in 2022. Ashley earned her J.D. and L.L.M. in Taxation from Boston University School of Law.
In law school, Ashley interned with in-house counsel at Accion, International, a non-profit organization that provides microfinancing and impact investing in developing nations. Ashley served as a student attorney for Boston University’s Wrongful Conviction practicum and was also a student author for the Review of Banking and Financial Law Journal. Ashley also served as research assistant for Professor Portia Pedro for a book project exploring the intersection of Civil Procedure and race, gender, class, and more
