Benjamin J.G. Ruano
Benjamin is an associate in the firm’s asset management group. His practice includes the representation of U.S. investment advisers and open- and closed-end investment companies and their trustees. He provides advice regarding the creation, registration and operation of new and existing investment products designed for institutional or retail investors. He also works with clients to respond to new SEC rules and guidance affecting the investment management industry.
Benjamin also works with individual pro bono clients. He represents immigration clients in asylum hearings, both before the immigration court and the asylum office, and juvenile clients petitioning for special immigrant juvenile (SIJ) classification.
Previously, Benjamin worked for a major asset manager in both internal and external sales capacities and, during that time, was a registered broker representative and registered investment adviser representative.
