Lauren Ramirez is an associate in the firm’s employment, executive compensation and employee benefits practice. Lauren regularly represents and advises clients with respect to labor and employment matters in connection with corporate transactions including mergers, acquisitions and divestitures involving U.S. and international entities. Lauren also assists clients across all industries in negotiating and drafting employment agreements, consulting agreements, separation agreements, restrictive covenant agreements and incentive compensation documents.

Lauren counsels employers on a variety of workplace matters including onboarding of executives, workforce restructuring, wage and hour law compliance, enforceability of non-competition and non-solicitation agreements, employment handbooks and policies, obligations under federal, state and local anti-discrimination and leave laws, investigations of sexual harassment and other wrongdoing, and workplace conduct trainings.  Lauren has also represented employers in mediations and before state agencies including the Massachusetts Commission Against Discrimination.

Lauren maintains an active pro-bono immigration practice, representing clients in asylum, special immigrant juvenile, humanitarian parole and family-based immigration applications and proceedings. 

During law school, Lauren interned at local employment and immigration law firms as well as the Executive Office for Immigration Review's Office of the Chief Administrative Hearing Officer.  Before law school, Lauren was a Teach for America corps member in Washington, D.C., teaching middle and high school social studies.
