Quay Reza
Law Clerk
Quay is temporarily on a full-time Government Agency Rotation.
Quay Reza is a law clerk in the real estate investments and transactions group in Ropes & Gray’s New York office. Quay graduated from Columbia Law School, where he was a member of the Black Law Students Association and the Muslim Law Students Association. Quay also served as a senior editor on the Columbia Law Review.
While at Columbia Law School, Quay worked with the New York City Bar Association, helping citizens find housing and benefits. In his 1L summer, Quay interned with the Legal Aid Society, drafting writs of habeas corpus for inmates at Riker’s Island who were susceptible to contracting COVID during the peak of the pandemic. Through Columbia Law School’s Community Advocacy Clinic, Quay worked with the City of Philadelphia to reduce fines and fees for indigent criminal defendants.
Prior to law school, Quay worked as an aviation meteorologist in the U.S. Air Force for six years.
