Robert Rossi joined Ropes & Gray in 2016 and is a member of the asset management group. Rob focuses his practice on private investment funds, advising fund sponsor clients in connection with various fundraising, structuring, governance, operations, regulatory and compliance matters. In addition, Rob’s experience includes co-investment transactions, secondary transactions, and transactions involving asset management firms, such as spin-offs and acquisitions. Rob also works with institutional investors in connection with their investments in various types of private funds and has experience working with private fund sponsors to establish credit facilities for their investment vehicles.

During law school, Rob advised nonprofit organizational clients as part of the Boston College Community Enterprise Clinic and worked as a research assistant for Professor Mary-Rose Papandrea. In addition, he was a Dean’s Scholar, an executive articles editor of the Boston College Law Review, and a Boston College Law Ambassador. At graduation, Rob received the John D. O’Reilly, Jr. Award for contribution to the law school community through service to its students.
