Catherine Steubing is an associate in the litigation & enforcement practice group and is based in Ropes & Gray’s Chicago office.
During law school, Catherine worked to pursue Clean Water Act and Illinois Environmental Protection Act claims on behalf of environmentalist groups in the Abrams Environmental Law Clinic. She also interned at the Cook County State’s Prosecutor’s Office in the Civil Rights Division and competed in the National Native American Law Students Association Moot Court Competition. Catherine served as co-president of the Native American Law Students Association, treasurer of the Student Animal Legal Defense Fund, and as an editor for the Chicago Journal of International Law.
