Alexandra Velazquez Smith

Alexandra Velazquez Smith joined Ropes & Gray’s corporate department in 2022 in the private capital transactions group.

During law school, Alex was a legal intern at a large investment management company and summered at a corporate law firm in Wilmington, Delaware. At Rutgers Law School, Alex served as a board member of the Hunter Moot Court and a senior staff editor of the Rutgers Business Law Review. Alex was also co-president of the Latin American Law Student Alliance (ALIANZA) at Rutgers when the Hispanic National Bar Association named ALIANZA the Law Student Organization of the Year.
