Catherine T. Simes
Associate
Catherine joined Ropes & Gray in 2017 as an associate in the corporate department. She practices primarily in the firm’s private equity group, representing private equity sponsors and strategic investors in the structuring and negotiation of leveraged buyouts, mergers, acquisitions, divestitures and minority investments across multiple industries. She also advises private equity clients and their portfolio companies on general corporate governance matters.
Catherine is also actively involved in pro bono work, and she currently serves as an immigration team co-lead for Ropes & Gray’s medical-legal partnership with Dorchester House in Boston.
