Chevaun Samuels is an associate in Ropes & Gray’s corporate department. Chevaun practices primarily in the firm’s private capital transactions group and represents private equity sponsors and their portfolio companies in connection with a broad range of transactions.
Chevaun graduated from Columbia Law School in May 2020. During law school, Chevaun participated in New York Pro Bono Scholars Program, where he dedicated his final semester of law school working on human rights and immigrant rights issues. Chevaun also served as a student attorney for the Adolescent Representation Clinic, where he represented adolescents who were aged out of the foster care system in New York. Chevaun served as the alumni chair for the Black Law Students Association.
