Jacob Schwartz joined Ropes & Gray in 2019 and is an associate in the real estate group.

During his time at Boston University School of Law, Jacob served as a law clerk at a Boston area firm specializing in political asylum, and worked in the civil litigation clinic helping clients gain unemployment benefits. Jacob continues to work in asylum at Ropes & Gray, helping pro bono clients apply for protection.

Prior to law school, Jacob worked as a paralegal at a generalist solo attorney firm in Brooklyn, most often working with clients on housing cases.
