James joined Ropes & Gray in 2015 and is an associate in the firm’s asset management practice group. He regularly advises clients in connection with the formation and ongoing operation of private investment funds, including with respect to co-investments, secondary transactions, fund restructurings and other corporate matters, and advises institutional investors investing in private investment funds. He also has experience in private equity transactions, including sales of minority interests in private equity sponsors.
