Leah Sibbio Blue joined Ropes & Gray in 2022 and is an associate in the private capital transactions group. Leah focuses her practice primarily on transactional matters, representing private equity firms and strategic investors in transactions including mergers, acquisitions and divestitures. Leah has experience advising private equity sponsors and their portfolio companies on add-on acquisitions, dispositions, internal reorganizations, general corporate governance matters and management compensation and equity arrangements.

Prior to joining Ropes & Gray, Leah was a corporate M&A associate in the Chicago office of a leading national law firm.

During law school, Leah advised MBA candidates in the New Venture Challenge at the University of Chicago Booth School of Business, as part of the Law School’s Corporate Lab clinic.

  • Represented CIVC Partners in its investment in Industrial Networking Solutions, a value-added reseller of wired and wireless products for the Internet of Things market and related engineering and provisioning services.
  • Represented GHO Capital and The Vistria Group in its acquisition of Alcami, a pharmaceutical contract development and manufacturing organization, from funds affiliated with Madison Dearborn Partners and Ampersand Capital Partners.
  • Represented GHO Capital in its investment in Sapio Sciences, an integrated lab informatics platform company.
  • Represented The Vistria Group in a strategic minority investment by Hunter Point Capital and ADQ.
  • Represented QHP Capital on the transactions related to the formation of a continuation fund for Catalyst Clinical Research, a global contract research organization providing full-service clinical development support for oncology-focused biotechs.
