Michael Sheehan joined Ropes & Gray’s Litigation & Enforcement practice group in 2019.
During his time at The George Washington University Law School, Michael was a member of The George Washington International Law Review. Michael also served as a Dean’s Fellow for the Legal Research & Writing Program and as co-president of the school’s Lambda Law student organization. Michael interned with the Office of the General Counsel at the Department of Defense and with the U.S. Senate Judiciary Committee.
Prior to law school, Michael served five years in the United States Marine Corps. Upon successful completion of language training at the Defense Language Institute in Monterey, CA, Michael worked as an Arabic Cryptologic Linguist at Fort Gordon, GA, where he led a team of linguists and other intelligence professionals in providing accurate and timely analysis to high-level executive branch officials.
