Raquel E. Swartz
Raquel Swartz joined the tax & benefits group as an associate in 2015. Prior to joining the firm, Raquel worked at a large multinational law firm in New York and conducted research on nonprofit law as a research assistant for Professor Marion Fremont-Smith.
During law school, Raquel interned at the New York City Law Department and for Judge Naomi Reice Buchwald, and volunteered with the City Bar Justice Center’s Planning and Estate Law Project. She also served as a managing editor of the Journal of Transnational Law and was the law school representative on Columbia University’s Advisory Committee on Socially Responsible Investing.
