Sara Shahmiri
Associate
Sara Shahmiri joined Ropes & Gray in 2017 as an associate in the firm’s finance group. Sara represents various private equity sponsors and their portfolio companies, corporate borrowers and financial institutions in a broad range of domestic and cross-border lending transactions, including credit facilities, leveraged financings, acquisition financings and fund financings. Prior to joining Ropes & Gray, Sara worked as an associate in the finance group of a large international law firm, where she predominantly practiced lender-side representation.
While at the University of Virginia School of Law, Sara served as Editor-in-Chief of the Virginia Journal of Law and Technology as well as on the editorial board of the Virginia Tax Review.
