Sona Sulakian

Sona Sulakian joined Ropes & Gray’s Silicon Valley office in 2022.
While in law school, Sona served as the managing editor of the Southern California Review of Law and Social Justice, where her note was published in 2022. She was also a Gold Honors Scholar at USC Gould and the winner of the Recording Academy’s 24th Annual Entertainment Law Initiative Writing Contest.
Sona has a broad background in helping companies digitize and automate their internal processes. Prior to joining Ropes, Sona worked as a strategic consultant at a leading CLM provider to help legal, procurement, sales, and other teams at both small and Fortune 500 companies transform the way they manage contracts, enforce compliance, and conduct due diligence using AI. Sona’s previous experiences include pharmaceutical consulting, big tech finance, nonprofit management, and startup legal tech.
