Associate

Ted Schmadeke joined Ropes & Gray in 2017 as an associate in the firm’s corporate department.  Ted advises private equity sponsors and their portfolio companies in connection with mergers, acquisitions, divestitures, joint ventures, financings and general corporate governance matters.  

Prior to joining Ropes & Gray, Ted was an associate in the mergers and acquisitions group of a leading international law firm.

  • New Mountain Capital in connection with its acquisitions and roll-up of IMA Consulting, Revint Solutions and Naveos.
  • Berkshire Partners in connection with its acquisition of Curriculum Associates.

  • ABRY Partners and Masergy Communications in connection with the sale of Masergy Communications to Berkshire Partners.
  • Welsh, Carson, Anderson & Stowe in connection with its acquisition of Consumer Safety Technology.
