Tyler Silvey

Associate

Tyler Silvey is an associate in the firm's mergers & acquisitions group in the New York office. He represents public and private companies in complex domestic and cross-border mergers, acquisitions, divestitures, and joint ventures in a broad range of industries. Tyler also advises clients on corporate governance, disclosure issues and compliance matters.

Prior to joining Ropes & Gray, Tyler was an associate in the New York office of another international law firm.

  • American Securities LLC in its $1.575 billion sale of Henry Company LLC to Carlisle Companies Incorporated*

  • ECN Capital Corp. in multiple transactions including*:
    • its acquisition of Service Finance Holdings LLC
    • its acquisition of Kessler Financial Services
    • its acquisition of Triad Financial Services, Inc.
  • The Kroger Company in its pending $24.6 billion merger with Albertsons Companies, Inc.*
  • Ontario Teachers’ Pension Plan in its investment in Flynn Restaurant Group LP*
  • Skillsoft Corp. in multiple transactions including*:
    • the sale of its SumTotal business to Cornerstone OnDemand, Inc.
    • its $525 million acquisition of Codecademy
