William E. Schoenfeld
Will Schoenfeld joined Ropes & Gray’s corporate department in 2017. Will focuses his practice primarily on private equity transactions and mergers & acquisitions. Will advises financial sponsors and strategic investors in mergers, acquisitions, and divestitures. Will also advises private equity firms and their portfolio companies on add-on acquisitions and investments and general corporate matters.
While in law school, Will served as a Student Honors Intern with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission and worked in the chambers of a District Court Judge in the Northern District of Illinois. Will was a Note and Comment Editor on the Northwestern Journal of International Law and Business. Prior to law school, Will worked in the financial services industry.
