Edward (Eddie) Thiele

Eddie Thiele joined Ropes & Gray in 2021 as an associate in the real estate investments & transactions group. Prior to joining the firm, Eddie was an associate in the real estate team of the Chicago office of another international law firm. Eddie focuses his practice on real estate finance transactions, acquisitions and dispositions of real estate assets and commercial leasing.
Eddie also has experience with joint ventures and co-investments, corporate governance and SEC regulations and compliance. Eddie is dedicated to making every client's deal run as seamlessly as possible, identifying and guiding clients through legal and business issues and risks along the way.
During law school, Eddie was a member of the California Law Review and an instructor in the school’s academic support program.
