Josh Troper joined Ropes & Gray in 2019 as an associate in the firm's corporate department. Josh's practice focuses on representing private equity sponsors and their portfolio companies, as well as strategic clients, in a wide range of transactional matters, including public and private mergers and acquisitions, divestitures, leveraged buyouts and equity investments. Josh’s practice also includes advising clients on corporate governance and general corporate matters.

  • Represented American Industrial Partners in:
    • its acquisition of Masco Cabinetry by its portfolio company, acpi®.  
    • its take-private acquisition of SEACOR Holdings, a diversified holding company with interests in domestic and international transportation and logistics, crisis and emergency management, and clean fuel and power solutions.
  • Represented Crosspoint Capital in connection with its investment in Veracode.
  • Represented Lee Equity Partners in its sale of K2 Insurance Services, the holding company for a diverse group of specialty managing general agents.  
  • Represented New Mountain Capital in: 
    • the sale of its portfolio company Equian, a leading provider of payment processing services for health care companies and insurers.  
    • its acquisition of Inframark, an infrastructure services company focused on operation and maintenance of water and wastewater systems.  
  • Represented Partners Group in its acquisition of Blue River PetCare, a leading U.S. operator of veterinary hospitals.  
  • Represented TPG Capital and Wind River in connection with the proposed acquisition of Wind River by Aptiv PLC.  
  • Represented Welsh, Caron, Anderson & Stowe in its sale of a minority stake in InnovAge, the largest Program of All-Inclusive Care for the Elderly (PACE) provider in the United States.
