Calvin Utter

Calvin Utter joined Ropes & Gray's corporate department in 2021 and practices primarily in the private capital transactions group. He has experience representing clients in connection with due diligence matters, the drafting and review of transaction documents, and the ongoing management of portfolio companies. He also has an active pro bono practice representing indigent clients in family law matters. 

During law school, Calvin served as president of the school’s Real Estate Association and was a member of the Negotiation Team. Prior to law school, he worked as a commercial and residential real estate agent. Calvin also occasionally serves as master of ceremonies and live auctioneer for not-for-profit fundraising events.
