Elias Wright joined Ropes & Gray's corporate department in 2022 and practices primarily in the private funds group.
While in law school, Elias was a member of the Fordham Law Review. Elias published a note, “The Future of Facial Recognition Is Not Fully Known: Developing Privacy and Security Regulatory Mechanisms for Facial Recognition in the Retail Sector,” that was the recipient of the James R. Cleary Prize for Student Media Law and Policy. He also served as a judicial intern to the Honorable Leda Dunn Wettre of the U.S. District Court for New Jersey.
Prior to joining Ropes & Gray, Elias was an associate in the financial markets and funds department of another large international law firm, focusing on fund formation and investment management.
