Taylor-Katherine Wong

Associate

Taylor-Katherine Wong joined as an associate in the firm’s antitrust practice group in 2022. Prior to joining, Taylor-Katherine trained and qualified at the UK Competition and Markets Authority (CMA).

At the CMA, Taylor-Katherine advised on antitrust investigations in the pharmaceuticals sector, including on anticompetitive agreements, abuse of dominance, and excessive pricing. She has also advised on consumer law investigations in the travel industry.

During law school, Taylor-Katherine worked in-house at a global tobacco company.

Experience

  • Advising the CMA on its Hydrocortisone investigation, which featured a record-breaking £260m penalty*
  • Advising the CMA on elements of its appeal to the Court of Appeal regarding its decision on the abuse of dominance by Pfizer and Flynn Pharma in Phenytoin
  • Advising the CMA on its investigations into various airlines and travel companies for refunds from cancellations during COVID-19*
  • Advising the CMA on the set up of the Office for the Internal Market to support the effective operation of the UK Internal Market post-Brexit* 
  • Advising Japan Tobacco International on Asia-Pacific competition clearance for its acquisitions of producers in the Philippines and Indonesia for $936m and $677m respectively*
