Atiyah S. Wang
Atiyah Wang joined Ropes & Gray in 2015, and is a law clerk in the firm’s intellectual property litigation and transactions groups. Prior to joining the firm, Atiyah received her Ph.D. in electrical engineering from Columbia University, where she researched optical networking solutions for next-generation Internet. Her dissertation work focused on the design and implementation of cross-layer enabled optical networking technologies for achieving higher end-user bandwidth, lower latency and improved energy-efficiency. Throughout graduate school, she was also a student researcher for the National Science Foundation (NSF) Engineering Research Center (ERC) for integrated access networks. In this capacity, she has worked at the optical networking research groups at Bell Labs, University of Arizona, and University of Southern California.
