Christopher Walkley

Associate

Christopher Walkley joined Ropes & Gray in 2021 and practices in the asset management group. His practice primarily focuses on private investment funds and their advisers. Christopher assists asset management teams in the representation of investment advisers, private equity funds, hedge funds and other private funds in connection with various fundraising, governance, operations, regulatory and compliance matters. In addition, he also represents both sponsors and investors in connection with their contractual negotiations of governing fund documents and side letters.

During law school, Christopher served as a note editor for the Suffolk University Law Review and interned as a summer law clerk with the Social Security Administration’s Boston Hearing Office. Prior to law school, he founded a luxury sunglass brand and oversaw daily operations before joining the Massachusetts Attorney’s General Office in the Energy and Telecommunications Division.
