Daniel Wells
Associate
Daniel Wells joined Ropes & Gray's corporate department in 2021 and practices primarily in the asset management group.
During law school, Daniel served as managing editor of the Northeastern University Law Review and as a Civil Procedure teaching assistant for Justice Fernande Duffly. Daniel also interned at Oxfam America, where he worked on public interest corporate governance issues, and at Harvard Immigration and Refugee Clinic at Greater Boston Legal Services, where he worked with Guatemalan non-citizens seeking asylum.
Prior to attending law school, Daniel worked for 17 years at a leading UK investment platform and stockbroker. His work spanned a variety of compliance, audit and risk-related roles, including Head of Internal Audit and Head of Operational Controls and Revenue Recognition.
