Melissa Woodward
Associate
Melissa Woodward joined the firm in 2021 and is an associate in the real estate investments & transactions practice group. Melissa’s practice includes a range of transactional matters, such as acquisitions, dispositions, repurchase facilities and financing. Melissa represents investors, private equity clients and other financial institutions in these transactions.
During law school, Melissa interned with the Norfolk County District Attorney’s Office, working with the Norfolk Advocates for Children, a partner facility that provides specialized services for child abuse victims and their non-offending families. Melissa also served as the Associate Executive Editor for the Suffolk University Law Review, Team Captain for the 2020 Suffolk Law Bankruptcy Law Moot Court Team at the Annual Duberstein Bankruptcy Moot Court Competition, and teaching assistant to Contracts Professor Carter Bishop.
