Zakk Wedemeyer is counsel in the asset management group. He advises investment fund sponsors on fundraising and strategic and operational matters. He brings significant experience working with both new and established sponsors on investment strategies covering a wide range of asset classes. Known for being commercially minded, efficient and thoughtful, Zakk advises clients on investment vehicle structure, formation, marketing, management and ongoing regulatory compliance.
Zakk also regularly advises sponsors on internal economic arrangements, carried interest arrangements, governance considerations, minority investments, restructurings and succession planning. In addition, he counsels on bespoke investment arrangements, including funds of one, separately managed accounts and co-investment arrangements.
