Carrie Yang is an associate in the firm’s asset management group in San Francisco. Carrie represents private funds and investment advisers on transactional and compliance matters, including the formation and operation of open- and closed-end funds. Carrie also maintains a robust pro bono practice, advising small businesses on contract matters and assisting individual clients on asylum cases.
During law school, Carrie interned at the Federal Trade Commission's Bureau of Competition. Carrie was also a member of the editorial board of the Duke Law & Technology Review and on the leadership boards of the Asian Pacific American Law Students Association (APALSA) and the Transactional Law Competition. Prior to law school, Carrie was a paralegal at the Department of Justice, Antitrust Division.
