Jay Yi joined the asset management group of Ropes & Gray in 2019. Jay assists asset management teams in the representation of investment advisers, private equity funds, hedge funds, and other private funds in connection with various fundraising, structuring, governance, operations, regulatory, and compliance matters. He also has experience in both sponsor-side and investor-side contractual negotiations drafting governing fund documents and side letters.  

During law school, Jay was a judicial intern for the Honorable Florence Y. Pan of the D.C. Superior Court and served as the president of Georgetown's Asian Pacific American Law Students Association.
