Kwasi Yeboah

Associate

Kwasi Yeboah is an associate in the Ropes & Gray asset management group. Kwasi trained in the London office and completed seats in the private equity, finance, asset management and tax practices. 

Kwasi advises European and global private fund managers on the formation of alternative investment funds across a range of strategies, including private equity, venture capital, real estate and credit funds. He also works with institutional and sophisticated investors, including pension funds, sovereign wealth funds, insurance companies and funds of funds in relation to complex fund investments, co-investments, separate managed accounts and secondaries within a number of jurisdictions. 

Experience

Kwasi has experience advising:

  • Partners Group in connection with a GP-led secondary transaction whereby Partners Group, acting on behalf of its clients, acquired a cornerstone investment in Daiwa ICP’s first fund.
  • A global private markets investment manager in respect of its primary, secondary and co-investments programs.
  • A Madrid-based private market investment advisory firm on raising its fourth European credit fund, reaching its hard cap of €650 million.
  • A global private markets investment manager on its acquisition of a major equity stake in a Portuguese-headquartered provider of specialty crop nutrition, biocontrol and protection products.
  • A European alternative asset manager in relation to the establishment of feeder funds to facilitate the participation of semi-professional and high net worth individuals in various private funds.
